This method also results in the best voice quality. It is a dedicated,
managed connection. Your remote site can be as big as your budget allows.
Method #3 - Using the Internet and LOTS of bandwidth
In
the picture above, replace the dedicated circuits with the wide open Internet.
It works but expect some voice drop-outs. The connection is at least as good as
"the best cell service you ever had"

to optimize

Have plenty of bandwidth. |

Minimize router hops. Having the same Internet carrier at both ends
helps. |

Use VoIP routers that prioritize voice packets at each end. The
Internet likely won't prioritizee the voice packets but some voice packet
management is better than nothing. |
