Retail Merchants Association needed a new telephone system with greatly expanded features yet lower telephone maintenance cost. They also desired a lower and less complex telephone bill not subject to unexpected rate increases and fraudulent charges.
Having eliminated a full time receptionist, they needed an efficient way to cover the front desk and lobby.
The Solution:
A hosted PBX solution with Panasonic telephone sets combined with a Panasonic web camera in the lobby and Panasonic KX-NT700 audio conference system in the board room.

System Reliability:
The system is hosted in the Infotel Systems data center. In the event of a loss of fiber connected Internet or power at Retail Merchants, all calls continue to be answered without interruption via the hosted automated attendant system.
Voice messages are sent via email as a WAV file. Staff can access messages from their cell phone if unable to use the desk phone in the office.
Special software allows staff cell phones to act like their desk phones. Staff calls to RMA members show the Panasonic desk phone DID number.
