Reasons to use Digital Direct Dial Voice Service
Have a
Separate Direct Dial Telephone Numbers for Each Employee.
Reduce
calls handled by your receptionist.
Separate Ultra-High Speed Internet Service Will Displace Integrated Voice & Data T1
circuits
Businesses
using an integrated voice & data T1 or PRI are Internet speed limited. A
typical configuration could have 768k Internet and 11 voice lines. New Internet
products have data rates up to 10,000k! Our product allows a business to afford Internet and voice
on separate paths.
Provide
Redundancy to your WAN and Internet Access Circuits.
Use idle circuits for Internet/WAN
backup links when other data circuits fail. Only Digital Direct Dial provides backup to failed data lines such as a DSL Internet
access line. Your voice bandwidth will be
reduced but your data continues to arrive!
Use Idle lines for Video Conferencing
The most popular video conferencing method is to
use multiple (bonded) ISDN BRI circuits. Just use idle circuits from the Adix
PBX. When done, the borrowed bandwidth gets returned to the
telephone system.
Outbound
Calls Display only your Main Number
Consider a doctors office with a main number and
a private line for referring doctors to call. Now that private number stays
private. The private number can take inbound calls, but making any outbound call
on any line will only display the main listed telephone number to any receiving Caller ID device.
Multi-party Digital Audio Conferences Sound Great
Analog trunks create excessive analog to digital
conversions for all conference parties. These "A to D" conversions are
like making a copy of a copy of an analog cassette tape. Digital Centrex
conferences maintain all digital
connections between all parties. Like a music CD, digital sounds better!
Digital service allows for clear 8 party conferences!
Caller ID Name
Delivery with
Direct Dial Calls
Only ISDN PRI or
BRI provides Caller
ID name delivery with Direct Dial calls. If you can not afford a purchase of a 23
channel ISDN PRI, then Digital Direct Dial over ISDN BRI is
the affordable ISDN choice for Caller ID Name delivery.
Digital Provides Faster Call Delivery than Analog
A dedicated, high speed
digital information channel allows
Digital Direct Dial to deliver calls faster than
analog service. Analog service (1876
technology) must use a 90 volt ringing signal to signal a call and must wait
between ring cycles to deliver a signal than contains the Caller ID
information. Only after these events can your desk telephone ring. Even if you
have a T1 from the carrier, the signal may break out to analog lines before the
telephone system.
